We would only be able to serve as many children as we do with the support and dedication of our hundreds of generous volunteers. In 2023 Realities For Children had 1,203 volunteer positions filled for 6,587 hours of service! Volunteer Opportunities

KindConnect Delivery Volunteer: We would love to have you as a delivery Volunteer with KindConnect, our program that meets the needs for household items for the families we serve. Delivery of items is an ongoing, weekly need. Must be 21 years or older and complete a background check. To learn more and sign up, visit RFCKindConnect.org.

Premier Event Support: We host four Premier events every year. Check them out here. Needs include set-up, tear-down, registration, hosting, and more!

Youth Activities: Every month we host a free activity for the kids we serve. The venue is always somewhere fun, and we provide food and a few gifts to take home. The events are about three hours long, typically on evenings or weekends when the kids are not in school. We use volunteers as we typically have 150-300 attendees and primarily need help with set up, check-in, serving food, and tear-down. We like to have long-term, consistent volunteers for these Youth Activities, even if they can’t help every month. Must be 21 years or older and complete a background check.

Distribution Volunteer:  We have three major distributions throughout the year. We need help before, during, and after these events to manage the donations we receive.

Homebase Help: We always appreciate help for our small but mighty staff! Examples are mailings, database entry, research, organization of items, cleaning and yard work. Every little bit counts!
