Craig Secher, President and Founder
Craig graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a degree in Psychology and an emphasis in Human Services. He then worked in the child protection field in Larimer County, including work as a Child Protection Ongoing Case Manager with the Larimer County Department of Human Services. As President of Realities For Children, Craig is responsible for Affiliate Youth Agency partnerships, sponsorship distributions and emergency fund allocations.
Joyce Dickens, Director of Events
Joyce comes from an eclectic background including an M.S. in Ecology from Colorado State and several years as a small business owner. However, she found her true passion in the non-profit world first by volunteering at events and then as the first Development Director for a new but fast-growing agency assisting at-risk youth. Since then she has gained over 12 years of experience as a non-profit professional, specializing in fundraising, event planning, donor development, grant writing and marketing. As the Director of Events at Realities For Children Joyce works with hundreds of amazing volunteers to create one-of-a-kind events that inspire our community, increase awareness of the issues of abuse and neglect, and raise funds to meet the needs of the children Realities was created to serve.
Shelley Carroll, Membership Director
Shelley graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Business Marketing and a B.A. in Communications. She has worked in marketing and promotions in Northern Colorado for 14 years. As the Promotions Director in her previous job in media, she assisted in gaining community awareness for Realities For Children events and Business Members for a dozen years. Shelley works to educate local businesses about our organization, enroll new members and market them as business leaders in the community who support Realities For Children.
Molly Secher, Member Relations Manager
Molly graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Home Economics and a minor in Early Child Development. She has worked with children for 15 years and has been involved with Realities For Children since 1996. As the Member Relations Manager, she helps facilitate the membership process, as a communication leader to Ambassadors, and assures that each and every one of our Business Members has a successful experience with Realities For Children.
DeAnn Zamora, Marketing Director
DeAnn graduated from Colorado State University with a Master of Business Administration degree. She spent 12 years in a variety of marketing positions in the high tech industry, working and living in Germany and Singapore. DeAnn then moved into non-profit marketing and spent more than 6 years volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, helping children who have been abused and neglected find a safe and permanent home. DeAnn is responsible for fulfulling all the marketing benefits for our Business Members and managing the marketing for all Realities For Children distribution events.
Serena Thomas, Youth Agency Program Manager
Serena graduated with degrees in Math and Computer Science from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. After 8 years at Honeywell and another 10 at Hewlett-Packard, she joined the non-profit field as a volunteer coordinator and program manager, advocating for families in poverty, and children who have been abused and neglected. As the Youth Agency Program Manager, she strives to ensure these partners are recognized, have their needs met, and have a successful experience with Realities For Children.
