Fort Collins Series of Poker Season 3
The Fort Collins Series of Poker are charity poker tournaments organized by the staff and volunteers of the Realities For Children Triumph Awards’ Scholarship Endowment Advisory Council. These awards have been established as an endowment fund of the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado to provide scholarships and grants to abused and at-risk children in Larimer County. The Triumph Award winners are children between the ages of 16-19, who triumphed over their childhood abuse and adversities personally, socially and academically. The acknowledgment, educational opportunities and post-emancipation mentoring support that the Triumph Awards offer, help to empower these youth to break the cycle of abuse and neglect.

Sept 13. "Challenge Event"
Each poker play was "Challenged"at this event. Each VIP player was invited to bring a friend to also become a VIP. Players will also be encouraged to "Challenge" their friends to see who can outlast one another at this event.

Nov 8th "Caribbean Adventure Tournament"
This event will featured a Caribbean Vacation as its prize instead of a WSOP seat. Hawaiian gear was encouraged and lots of tropical goodies to add to a bit of fun.

March 28 "Celebrity Knockout Tournament"
We will invite at least 10 "Celebrities" to play in our event. Whoever knocks that celebrity out will get a prize and an autographed picture or t-shirt. We are currently in contact with “Professional” poker players and will announce the guest list the week before this event.

June 6 "The Finals"
Go all in for the kids at this tournament! Enjoy a day of great poker action and the chance to win a $1,500 Seat into the WSOP. Consolation tables and prizes will be given.

"The Triumph Cup"
This is our big award this year. This is a trophy awarded to the best overall player (based on a points system similar to the "WSOP Player of the Year"). The “Triumph Cup” is a large cup that we will engrave with the winners name and all throughout the year we will be filling this cup with gift certificates and other items from sponsors. Each gift certificate will be worth at least $25 and the cup will be quite valuable by the final event

In accordance with the Colorado Gaming Commission, there was no buy-in required or allowed for any of the Fort Collins Series of Poker Season 2 charity tournaments. All entry fees were voluntary. The Realities For Children Triumph Awards Fund is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible.
